Delamotte specializes in blanc de blancs champagnes made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes grown in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, one of Champagne's premier crus for white wines. The house produces refined, mineral-driven champagnes with fine bubbles and crisp acidity, reflecting the chalky terroir of the Côte des Blancs.

History

Delamotte was established in the 18th century and is one of the oldest champagne houses still in operation. The house has maintained a focus on blanc de blancs production and traditional winemaking methods throughout its history. It remains based in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, a village renowned for producing some of Champagne's finest Chardonnay-based wines.
