Style
Gosset emphasises freshness, structure and gastronomic tension. The house is known for limiting or avoiding malolactic fermentation in many base wines, preserving acidity and giving its champagnes a firm, vinous profile.
History
The Gosset family produced wines in Aÿ from the late 16th century, before Champagne's sparkling identity fully emerged. The house later adapted to sparkling champagne while preserving a reputation for firm, wine-like structure. It moved its main base to Épernay in the modern period.
Positioning
Gosset is a historic, gastronomy-oriented maison, prized by drinkers who favour freshness and savoury structure over overt sweetness or softness.
